The ALPS Mountaineering Nomad features an innovative roll top pack design with an expandable volume main compartment. This allows the Nomad to be customized for all types of backpacking adventures, from a 65L pack to an 85L pack. The main compartment is easily accessible through a generous zippered opening. Its adjustable suspension system includes 2 flat aluminum stays and can be adjusted to fit torso ranges from 16–22 inches. The waist belt is removable and comes with additional pockets for even more customization.

The Nomad also includes stretch side pockets, side compression straps, daisy chains, and trekking pole loops for extra gear storage and lashing points. A hydration pocket with two side outlet hydration ports and a built-in rain cover are also included to keep you prepared for any situation. The Nomad is designed to be the perfect companion for all your backpacking adventures.

Made from lightweight 200D nylon double ripstop fabric, the Nomad features two stretch bottle pockets, extensive daisy chain attachment points, side compression straps, and load lifter straps. The roll-top design allows the pack volume to expand from 65L to 85L, while the dual aluminum frame stays and air mesh-covered suspension provide maximum airflow. The pack is hydration compatible with ports on both sides and a three-point reservoir attachment.

The removable padded waist belt includes removable pockets and a pull-forward tightening waist belt for added comfort. The pack has a capacity of 3,965 in³ - 5,187 in³/65L - 85L, weighs 5lbs. 6oz., and has a waist belt range of 30" - 48" and a torso range of 16" - 22".
